Buy a new one.” (They really did tell people to buy a new iPod because the battery finally died.) Now they’ve come out with the iPhone, and a mere 60 days after it came out Apple has dropped the price by $200. When early customers complained about the price drop Apple said, “Sucks to be you.” Then they quickly offered a $100 credit in the company’s stores.
Now Apple has released a firmware upgrade for iPhones that has broken the phones that people have either hacked to work on other phone networks or simply added a third party application. Apple’s response? You’ve got it. “Sucks to be you.” Their official response? “Go buy another $400 iPhone.” (I kid you not.) Read the rest of this entry »
