We have wallpapers!

As promised I have created my Moon wallpapers featuring me on the Free and Open Island in SecondLife with logos for Ubuntu, Debian and GNOME, and they’re now available for downloading in two sizes.
I know I had mentioned a possible generic Linux wallpaper, but when it came time to actually make the wallpaper I simply wasn’t thrilled with how it came out. I was able to make them in two different sizes, 1280×1024 (the resolution I use), and 1600×1200 (which will scale nicely to other resolutions and still fill the screen).
Why three different wallpapers? Because Peng will also be posting these wallpapers to GNOME-Look.org and I’ve seen several complaints on that site that so many wallpapers that people post there are distro-specific.
You can click on the thumbnail images to see a larger preview of the wallpapers before you download the full-sized versions. To download a wallpaper just click on the link for the resolution you want under the specific thumbnail.
Please note: While my blog is covered by a Creative Commons license that allows the content to be reproduced for non-commercial purposes so long as you give the blog and author the proper credit, the wallpapers themselves are covered under a more restrictive license. While you are able to download these images for use as desktop wallpaper (backgrounds), I ask that you not post them on any other site, service, etc. You are, however, more than welcome to post a text link only (not my thumbnails) to this post so that others can find out about my wallpapers and come get them for themselves. In addition, the wallpapers are also covered by the licensing terms for the use of each logo. The logos themselves, are the property of the copyright holders for each specific distribution and are being used in accordance with their terms and public use licenses. My use of these logos does not indicate an endorsement by these organizations.
