Stop & Shop is owned by Giant Foods so those in DC/VA ask your Giant foods to get it. They may have it already.

I was talking with someone at Stop & Shop today and they told me that a big reason we have that technology is because the parent company is in Norway, where they have this and even more technology. In Norway you can even lie your credit card to your frequent shopper card and your purchases are automatically charged to your plastic, making it even faster and more convenient.

He did tell me that any large grocery chain can get the EasyShop technology, so yo may want to contact your store manager, or the corporate office, and ask for it. Everyone I've talked to who uses it loves it, and it's a great way to get people to use the store. It may be expensive, but I can only see it as a win-win for any large grocery chain.
