Home run king Barry Bonds has been indicted on charges of lying and obstructing justice as part of an investigation into allegations of steroid use.
The bottom line is whether he lied during testimony to a earlier grand jury about whether he has ever taken performance-enhancing drugs. “During the criminal investigation, evidence was obtained including positive tests for the presence of anabolic steroids and other performance enhancing substances for Bonds and other athletes,” the indictment read.
