Valentine’s Day tees are ready to go, but …

It’s no secret that SecondLife has had a ton of issues the last several days. They did a server upgrade two days ago and started rolling restarts yesterday to push the new code out to all the servers, but there were serious performance hits and they had to roll back the update. But things still aren’t right in SecondLife and another set of rolling restarts are in progress as I type.

I was in SecondLife just earlier this evening and I not only couldn’t TP to my store (thanks to an Invalid Location error), I couldn’t even change into my I Survived the Restart tee. Of course with all the issues in SecondLife anyone who wants to buy one of my tees is probably having trouble doing that. I had already released one set of romantic themed tees almost a week ago and I said I’d have more Valentine’s Day tees coming out on the first of February. Those tees are already in my store’s dropbox and I have them ready to go. All I have to do is to change the status to Listed and you’ll be able to buy them, but there’s no way I’m going to do that as long as I am experiencing issues changing clothes or TP’ing anywhere. Plus, my tees are No Copy and Kate Linden posted to the SL Blog that some residents are having inventory issues and asking us not to rez any no copy items inworld until they get the inventory issues resolved.

I doubt things will be fixed by the time I call it a night on the east coast of the US, but hopefully things will be working properly when I am able to get online once the sun comes up in the morning. As soon as I can confirm that not only has the all clear been given for the inventory issues but I can also login, get clothes changed and TP around I’ll release the new tees for purchase. And of course I’ll blog their release and give you some product thumbs to let you see what the tees look like. I think you’ll really like what I’m bringing out, and I think I have something for just about everyone.
