No, I’m not having a Pink Floyd moment, I’ve got another non-tee item in my SecondLife store, and both the girls and the will love it. It’s the Nanci’s Naughties Hoverboard, and your friends will surely want one when they see yours. Yes, the hoverboard in my latest Flickr pic is available for purchase!
The hoverboard is actually simple to use. Just right click on it and select Wear. You won’t see it right away, but if it says (worn) next to it in your inventory you’re all set. Then simply Fly and it will materialize beneath you, complete with it’s own animation while you ride it. It does take a little getting used to, but if you fly with your avatar much it will be a breeze to use your hoverboard since it uses the same controls.
Unlike my tees, this hoverboard carries Copy permissions, but not Modify or Transfer. Sorry, but if you want to get it for someone you’ll have to either have them buy it for get it from my online store. If your friend is a signed up with OnRez you will be able to buy it and have it delivered to them. They haven’t signed up with OnRez yet? Ask them what they’re waiting for? It’s free and it lets them shop at a ton of SL shops even when SL is being stupid.
