The Dodgers and Giants are in the top of the 2nd inning in the first game of the 2008 MLB season, and they’re playing in Los Angeles for the first time in way too long to start the season. Except for the Red Sox and the A’s, who played two games of their new season in Tokyo this past week, the 2008 season for Major League Baseball is going to begin in just a few days. No, it’s not news that Firefox 3 has a release date, or that Firefox 3 Beta 5 is out (although that’s coming soon). No, this is the news that Firefox 2.0.0.13 is now out with security and stability updates for users on the Linux, Mac OSX and Windows platforms. Read the rest of this entry »

I was just going through the Ubuntu Brainstorm site to make sure they had an idea to get the Liberation fonts into the repositories (it’s already there) when I saw recommendations for the DejaVu fonts. After seeing a page comparing the two fonts I had no choice. I had to change my system fonts to DejaVu because they look so much clearer. Read the rest of this entry »

Several things happened today in my real life, and one of the things that happened is that I found out I’m going to have to log out of SecondLife for an indeterminate period of time.
