Many of us who have been testing Ubuntu Hardy have found there’s a bug that leaves the NumLock setting off as it boots up, despite our having it turned on in our BIOS. I’m glad to be able to report that the fix for the bug has been released and we no longer need to use workarounds. Read the rest of this entry »

On Tuesday Starbucks, the coffee chain that has shown millions around the world what good coffee should taste like, rolled out a new daily brew, Pike Place Roast. I gave it a try and I’m have decided whether I like it or not. Being from Starbucks isn’t a guarantee I’ll like it, either, since I’d sooner drink Dunkin’ Donuts coffee (which I hate) than drink Starbucks House Blend. Read the rest of this entry »
