Boston prepares to celebrate a very hardy release

The Massachusetts Ubuntu Local Community (LoCo) Team is getting ready to mark the release of Ubuntu 8.04 “Hardy Heron.”
The gang will be getting together at the Globe Bar & Grill on Boylston Street, just about a block from where Monday’s Boston Marathon will end. They’re going to start at 7 PM and go until, well the official announcement says until they pass out, so I assume they’ll be closing the place.
You can get all the info on the wiki, but you should definitely make plans to be there if you can. It doesn’t look like I’ll be able to make it, but maybe Nanci will be there for both of us. Whether we’re there or not you will be the one missing out if you can’t make it.

Sorry, Peng, but I don’t think I’m going to be able to make it either. but what do you mean you can’t go? It’s your job to go to Ubuntu Release parties! lol
