I just read an article asking the question how did Ubuntu end up so popular, and considering how popular it seems to have gotten I think it’s a fair question.

Leave it to someone in “the radical feminist Christian antiracist left” to answer the question quite so well.

Actually it’s a very well written post looking at not only some of Ubuntu’s history but why so many of us have heard of the Linux distribution for humans. And avatars. Thanks to the Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter for bringing it to my attention. (No, Peng’s not the only one who reads it. *g*)
