Wow, I can’t believe I’m blogging this before Peng, but tomorrow marks the 15th birthday for the Debian project, the free open source operating system that’s the basis of Ubuntu.
There are celebrations all over the world, and if you’re in SecondLife tomorrow the good people with 4freedom will be celebrating Debian Day 2008 with live music. Join the celebration tomorrow, Saturday 16 August, at 1 PM SLT (SecondLife Time) at 4freedom’s home on ama gi (SLURL).
Happy Birthday, Debian!

I think I had seen something about this earlier this week but I must not have paid enough attention to realize what was going on. I may have to pop into SL tomorrow to go to the party.
Thanks for posting this, sis!

Woops! Sorry about posting this to Planet Ubuntu Users. I didn’t realize using the Ubuntu tag would do that.
