Before you upgrade to Ubuntu 8.10 …

This week I’ve been providing links to the release notes for the Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex Release Candidate but I’ve come to realize I should have been providing a different link. That’s actually an Introduction to Intrepid, not the release notes I’ve been intending to link to. If you want to look for “gotchas” that you may experience while upgrading to Intrepid you should instead check the Intrepid Release Notes from the Ubuntu wiki. I apologize for not providing the proper release notes link this week, and I know the release notes are linked to at the bottom of the Introduction page, but as I have proved it can be missed a little too easily.

I’ll make my way through the posts and fix the links, but I wanted to make a very clear post about my error for your use in the meantime.
