There’s a new security and stability upgrade for Firefox 2. The biggest change is that a JavaScript scurity issue has been fixed, but you should definitely take the update if you’re running Firefox 2. Read the rest of this entry »

No, it’s not news that Firefox 3 has a release date, or that Firefox 3 Beta 5 is out (although that’s coming soon). No, this is the news that Firefox 2.0.0.13 is now out with security and stability updates for users on the Linux, Mac OSX and Windows platforms. Read the rest of this entry »

Many people around the Wide Wide World of Web have commented on how much faster Firefox 3 is than Firefox 2. What you may be interested in finding out is why it’s so much faster. Two pieces of software got updates in the past few days or so and I wanted to make sure our readers knew about them. The first is an upgrade for the Pidgin instant messaging client, and the second is more if a release announcement than an update as EnvyNG is now available for people testing Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron.
