Windlight is now a Release Candidate!

I wasn’t able to get on SecondLife yesterday, but today I found out some awesome news! SecondLife has taken the most recent First Look Windlight client, updated a few things, fixed a few bugs, and presto! We have SecondLife 1.19.1 RC0, complete with Windlight!

Once more with feeling: SecondLife pushes out Release Client 4 for their version 1.19.0 viewer

LindenLabs is ever so close to releasing the SecondLife 1.19.0 software to everyone, but they fixed a few more bugs and want to try a fifth Release Candidate before officially releasing 1.196.0. (They started with RC0, which is why the fifth RC is numbered RC4 rather than number five.)

As we’ve said before, RC4 is test software and not to be used by the general public yet. There are still bugs that could cause major problems, (Blahblah softwaretestercakes.)

Lindens bring out two more test versions of SecondLife

Before the week closed the devs at Linden Labs rolled out another new 1.19.0  Release Client, as well as a new Windlight First Look client based on the new RC code.

Tuesday I told you about the first Release Client for SecondLife version 1.19.0 (RC0), and they’ve already fixed a bunch of bugs. The result is the second Release Client, SecondLife 1.19.0 RC1.

SecondLife rolls out new Windlight preview

Earlier this morning I posted that there was a new SecondLife Release Candidate, and now I’m happy to say that they’ve rolled out a new preview of their Windlight client that includes the 1.19.0 code.

After jumping the gun last week, Linden Labs has released the first Release Candidate (RC) for SecondLife version 1.19.0 today. They fixed a ton of bugs, but there are some changes you definitely need to know about.
